About Us

Yes we surf, yes we snowboard, and yes we skate.

But people like us are interested in other things too. We like music, and movies, and design, and books and tools. We like traveling, and food, and board-friendly cars, and TV.

We're also the internet generation. We sit in front of the computer a lot. Like, a whole lot. Searching different websites for whatever we want, or need, or are just curious about. And we actually find a lot of really cool shit.

So now, instead of just e-mailing it to our friends to show how up-to-date, and ahead of the curve we are, we decided to post it all here on The Daily Drop. The objective is to create a place where other people like us, that are interested in the same sort of things we are, can check out all the stuff we find everyday.

It may be a new sweater by Volcom, or a super cheap sale price on a trip to El Salvador. It may be a paparazzi video of Muska getting kicked out of a club and strangled, or a clip of Slater man-handling 8' Soupbowls again. Who knows, this is the internet, and luckily we can post whatever random shit we want here, and write whatever the fuck we want to write about it. If you find that you're not the type of person that likes the things we have here, #1, know that you're lame, and #2, lucky for you, the internet is a big place and you have other options.

We've also worked in and out of the "Industry" for almost 15 years now, and we know it pretty well. There are some really amazing companies, and forward-thinking designers in our growing little $50 billion dollar industry. We've got an insane amount of creative people drawn to this boardsport lifestyle that are always pushing things to the next level, whether it be with paint, or film, or cloth, or mouse, and our objective is to showcase you here. But we also can't help but to write with wit, and sarcasm, and drunken-honesty, so if whatever you're pushing isn't up to par, we're gonna have to let you know about it.

So that's it, that's what we're about, you should probably bookmark us right now so you remember to take a look every day. Just to see if we have anything funny or interesting, because we probably do. Hopefully you will learn to trust our opinions, because we're smart, talented, (good-looking) and pretty much always right.
