One Track Mind - full movie
Check it out. Chris Malloy is doing something really cool, and posting his whole new film One Track Mind, in it’s entirety, on Facebook for 48 hours to watch for free.
I embedded it here, but expect this not to work anymore by tomorrow, so if you have 40 minutes, watch it now!

Surfing 50 States - Trailer
So these 2 Aussie blokes who had never been to the States before, and had only heard a lot of misconceptions about the people of the good ole’ U.S.A, decided it would be a good idea to come to America and “surf” in all 50 states.
Check out the trailer above. Pretty funny idea. Below is the “synopsis” from their website:
“WHAT??!!! You want to surf every state in the U.S.A???!!!“, gasps anyone we tell.
“YEP!!“, we reply casually!
“You know not every state is on the coast??!!“, they quiz triumphantly.
“YEP!!“, we reply casually!
For good mates Jonno and Stefan, travelling is a passion, almost as near to their heart as surfing! Nothing beats the adventures of being in a foreign land and embracing another culture… except dropping a couple of surfboards into the adventure. But as they watch endless documentaries on mysterious and unknown countries they pose the question ‘What happened to the places that we claim to know so much about… who’s exploring there?’
One such place is the good ol’ US of A, the one place that so many Australians love to hate. After all, Jonno and Stefan had grown up knowing full well that it is merely a country packed with arrogant, loud mouthed, George Bush loving, fat Anglo-Saxons who only care about themselves and know nothing about the world around them…oh yeah, and Hip-Hoppers. It was only upon traveling to the USA that they realised Australia’s perception of America can be extremely inaccurate and something had to be done about it. Thoughts and ideas begin to flow as they organised to make a young and fresh documentary like never seen before.

If watching a brand new surf film, under the stars, with the director and two world champs (K9/Curren), groovin’ to live music (Matt Costa), and vying to win a new surfboard sounds like your idea of a good time, then do whatever it takes to get to Ventura tonight for the screening of Chris Malloy’s new film, One Track Mind, at Patagonia HQ.

Admission is FREE
The event is outdoors so please dress appropriately and bring a blanket and/or your own lawn chair. An FCD surfboard and other great prizes will be raffled away before the movie. Pick up a raffle token at Great Pacific Iron Works or Wetsand Surf Shop prior to the event, or at the event itself. Jenkins – Yotzin will kick things off with a 20-minute music set; Matt Costa will close the evening with a short acoustic performance. JCVD - Trailer
Jean-Claude Van Damme has a really good new movie coming out called JCVD.
That’s right, you heard me correctly, Jean-Claude Van Damme has a really good new movie coming out! That’s what the critics are saying anyway.
Here’s the premise:
Between his tax problems and his legal battle with his wife for the custody of his daughter, these are hard times for the action movie star who finds that even Steven Seagal has pinched a role from him! In JCVD, Jean-Claude Van Damme returns to the country of his birth to seek the peace and tranquility he can no longer enjoy in the United States.
I saw the poster above, with his big lumpy face on it, on the back of a bus when I was in Brussels a few months ago, and I thought it’s really nice. I was curious what it was about, but forgot to look it up. Now after watching this trailer, I know, and I’m really looking forward to seeing it. Even though I happened to sit next to JCVD himself twice at Swingers in Santa Monica, and he seemed like a pompous dick.

Riding the Wave - Trailer
The trailer for Riding The Wave, a surf culture documentary about the current state of the “industry” directed/created by Art Center grad Christopher Cutri:
