Jean-Claude Van Damme has a really good new movie coming out called JCVD.
That’s right, you heard me correctly, Jean-Claude Van Damme has a really good new movie coming out! That’s what the critics are saying anyway.
Here’s the premise:
Between his tax problems and his legal battle with his wife for the custody of his daughter, these are hard times for the action movie star who finds that even Steven Seagal has pinched a role from him! In JCVD, Jean-Claude Van Damme returns to the country of his birth to seek the peace and tranquility he can no longer enjoy in the United States.
I saw the poster above, with his big lumpy face on it, on the back of a bus when I was in Brussels a few months ago, and I thought it’s really nice. I was curious what it was about, but forgot to look it up. Now after watching this trailer, I know, and I’m really looking forward to seeing it. Even though I happened to sit next to JCVD himself twice at Swingers in Santa Monica, and he seemed like a pompous dick.
