Timmy Turner
There’s an incredible article about Timmy Turner in the September issue of Men’s Journal. I thought I knew about his fight with Staph infection (which he contracted in Huntington Beach, not some far off country), but I really had no idea. They pretty much had to remove half of his skull!
I don’t want to spoil the article, because it’s really worth reading, so pick up the mag, but it’s pretty incredible that Timmy has made almost a complete recovery, and is back out on the road making another surf film. Can’t wait to see it.

My head hurts just looking at his skull !! It is crazy that he has gone all over the world and endured some VERY sketchy situations and he gets sick in HB. Yikes… time to get out of town.
